I had been to library a couple of times before but didn't knew that we have to reserve seats if we want to use the study rooms. When I sat for studying, I wandered what those numbers are for. But then I just ignored it.
I was studying when a girl came to me and showed me a slip. Seeing the number I could understand I was sitting at her seat. So, I nodded and left.
But I still was clueless how to get that slip. So I simply went to the Library Desk, I asked him if I need any slip to use the studyroom on the groundfloor too. So he took me to the machines and taught me the entire thing.
Its actually simple, we scan our library card, select the study room, select the seat no. according to our choice and convenience, decide the no. of hours we want to study and book one seat in any of the study rooms.
In the study rooms they prefer and expect complete silence just like any other library but then they also have seperate sections for group studies. What I liked about it was that they have also placed whiteboards and markers along with each side making it more convenient for students to explain and discuss things in a group.
